You can register your child at any time. However, it is advisable to register them at least one year before you wish them to start, as places can fill up quickly.

Children are eligible to start at the Pre-school from the half term after their 2nd birthday, providing that there are available spaces. 

If your child’s birthday falls in a pre-school holiday, they will be eligible to start at the beginning of the following half term.

The Pre-school requires that children start with a minimum of two sessions per week, as we have found this helps the children to settle more quickly. Children younger than 2 years 9 months will be offered morning sessions only for their first term as part of their settling in process. 
 

If you require full day care, the Pre-school offers up to a maximum of 4 full days, assuming there are available spaces. Spaces for 2-year olds may be restricted to a maximum of 3 full days, assuming there are available spaces.

Private fees have to paid for every session attended where government funding is not available for your child or where it is a fee paying session. We accept

• 30-hour funding for eligible working families, for 2 year olds, 3 & 4 year olds, and where eligible, under 2 year olds.

• 15 hours funding for 2 year olds of families receiving additional support, and the universal entitlement for 3 & 4 year olds who are not eligible for 30 hours.

The Pre-school will try and meet your requests as far as possible. In the event that a particular session is full, an alternative may be offered, subject to availability.
